The Details

The University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law’s Deposition Boot Camp will prepare new attorneys to take depositions as well as sharpen the experienced attorneys’ skills. The two-day, intensive training will be taught by experienced civil litigators from both sides of the bar and will include sessions such as the following:

  • Preparation is Vital
  • Managing the Difficult Witness
  • Building Rapport to Maximize Evidentiary Value

Attorneys will gain valuable knowledge from trainers with expertise in taking and defending lay witness depositions.  Training emphasizes experiential teaching methods where attorneys take and defend depositions in McGeorge’s state-of-the-art training facilities.

Pacific McGeorge School of Law is a State Bar of California approved Minimum Continuing Legal Education provider. This program offers 10 hours of Minimum Continuing Legal Education credit of which one hour will apply to ethics. Pacific McGeorge School of Law certifies that this activity conforms to the standards for approved educational activities prescribed by the rules and regulations of The State Bar of California governing minimum continuing legal education.
